We were excited to be asked by Joe Dale, Regional Youth Participation Executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board, to deliver eight social media training events to the cricket development workforce at the ECB. This included regional Cricket Boards & the marketing teams within them. As a distributed team this meant we spent a few days on the road visiting each group to deliver the training. Although the temptation for businesses these days is to deliver training remotely (via Skype for example) we feel nothing beats true in-house training where we can deliver a bespoke face-face workshop with participants.
After a busy and successful couple of weeks we are delighted to have delivered 21 hours of training to 110 attendees! Our thanks to the fantastic team at the ECB for their participation in the workshops. We hope the new insights into the effective use of Social Media will be of benefit as they work to promote Cricket across the UK.
"I approached Introtweet with a view to delivering 7 training events across the country to upskill the professional cricket development workforce responsible for growing participation in the sport. From the very start Introtweet were extremely supportive and happy to visit all corners of the country. After sorting dates, they engaged with all the individual session leaders who supplied them with some local context, and set up the self-assessment questionnaires so Introtweet could tailor the content of each session. The feedback has been excellent from all the events and by the end we’ll have trained in excess of 100 staff. I’m sure the cricket industry will call on Introtweet again in the future to continue to develop our staff in the significance of using social media effectively."
