Have you seen the Meta Two Link warning message yet? 🔗🔗
Under new plans to encourage users to sign up to Meta One [a new paid subscription service recently launched] Meta is now limiting it’s users to sharing just two links per month – this also includes links in comments.
Whilst at first this sounds alarming & is definitely an annoying update – we’ve known for years that links in posts often drastically reduce organic reach & often these style of posts don’t perform well.
So, instead:
🔗 Encourage call-to-actions in your posts instead to draw in engagement – this is a metric Meta loves currently & it’s more comments, the better.
🔗 Consider using an Automated Chat function like ManyChat to automatically message links to products, services, blog articles to your audience when they comment a specific word.
🔗 Use things like LinkTree, synomous with Instagram, on Facebook – so, when you do put a link in a post it’s full of multiple links to all your most important news, products & services.
What are your thoughts? How will you be changing your Meta use? 🔗
Stay tuned & stay calm, we plan to launch a webinar on this shortly!
